Gas emission reduction from hydrocarbon production has become an important factor in the ‘Global Warming’ debate – Roots Systems continues to supply oil companies and operators with specialised compression equipment for zero flaring and VOC recovery systems.
A number of orders have been recently completed for ‘Acid Gas’ flare elimination systems as well as a number of FPSO oil tanker Hydrocarbon gas blanketing and VOC recovery systems.
Roots have recently shipped two 500 kW 80 tonne crude oil vapour compressors to the Vankor oil field in Eastern Siberia where ambient temperatures down to minus 49 deg C make the operation of machinery challenging.
